As members of the global community, Canadian community and our own big family, CCI is working diligently to stay up-to-date on the latest information and we are committed to guiding our business through the circumstances of the COVID-19 virus.  We are executing our continuity plans in order to ensure the same great service, without jeopardizing the safety of our CCI team members.

CCI is open for business and ready to fully support all operations remotely. We don’t expect any service impact to our customers.

We must all take the directions and advisories of our government officials very seriously. We are doing our part minimize the impact of the COVID-19 virus. Information for Albertans about COVID-19 is available here: https://www.alberta.ca/coronavirus-info-for-albertans

The Safety of Our Team

Above all, the health and safety of our team members is our single largest focus and concern. We are encouraging and enabling all staff to work from home if they feel ill in any way. We are adjusting quickly for our staff members whose childcare plans were disrupted by school and daycare closures.

CCI has a fully functional work-from-home policy and many of our employees work remotely when required, on a regular basis. We have added resources to enable every single team member to work remotely if necessary. All our operations are already live with remote support.

No Effect to Your Internet Services

While we are taking steps to minimize the impact of COVID-19 on our workplace, we do not foresee any impact on the delivery of CCI services. We are maintaining our 24/7 monitoring from our Network Operations team.

We are deeply conscious of the critical role our services play in connecting you to your world, now more than ever. The CCI team remains committed to providing reliable internet and home phone service.

No Change to Customer Support

We have always prided ourselves on creating jobs in Alberta, and a big part of that has been keeping all our Contact Centre services in-house. When you call us, you reach a person in Calgary. That will not be changing.

We have made a big effort in the last weeks to transition from a flexible workplace to a workplace where every single staff member can do their part from their home, if necessary, including our Network Operations Centre and our Call Centre teams.

We have access to all the same tools we use to contact our customers, to troubleshoot customer issues and the systems we use to maintain our network performance.

If something goes wrong with your CCI connection and you require requires on-site service to reconnect, we are available to visit your home for repair. Availability of site visits could change if we determine that it’s unsafe for our field staff to visit the homes of our customers, or if government orders prohibit us from performing this work.
