Position Summary:
We have openings on our Customer Care team for individuals experienced in customer service. Our Calgary office is home to a full call centre supporting over 20,000 homes and businesses across Alberta.

Responsible to provide an excellent customer experience by responding to customer calls in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable manner. Customer Care agents sign up new customers, handle billing functions and help customers manage their account subscriptions.

CCI will provide full training for our systems and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls to the sales team and determine if services are available in callerʼs area.
  • Provide superior customer service to CCI customers, agents and resellers by attending to, following up on and resolving customer questions and complaints.
  • Answer questions on features and benefits of our services compared to competition.
  • Close sales, set-up customer accounts, and book installations
  • Answer Customer Care questions
    • Resolve issues
    • Retain customers
  • Make outbound sales calls to potential customers in our coverage area
  • Resolve customer issues and, if necessary, escalate to the Customer Care Team Lead.
  • Review and process plan upgrades, agent orders and downgrade tickets in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Prepare VOIP customer subscriptions including documentation and submission to Thinktel.
  • Conduct revenue assurance including review and audits of Thinktel bills in order to reconcile ports for the month.
  • Practice and ensure compliance with CCI policies and procedures.
  • Communicate solutions, successes and opportunities to the Customer Care Team Lead.
  • Additional related duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completion of relevant post-secondary education.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a customer service environment.
  • Call centre experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry would be an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a timely fashion.
  • Must have a strong customer service orientation and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal and well-developed customer service skills are required.
  • Proficiency in data entry and use of mapping software.
  • Excellent communications skills required for understanding and communicating the clients’ needs
  • Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
  • Personal work style that contributes to a service oriented, customer focused and “value-add” culture.

Position Summary: 

CCI Wireless is seeking a Fields Sales Agent to join our rapidly growing team. With no shortage of rural Albertans who need better internet, we’re recruiting passionate people to be a part of our ever-expanding network. Please note:This position requires frequent travel with your own vehicle.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate sales using various customer sales methods including door-to-door sales, outbound calling and presentations.
  • Respond to incoming sales calls by answering customer questions, discussing/promoting available CCI products and services, and assessing customer satisfaction with existing service.
  • Follow through on sales leads.
  • Close sales, set up customer accounts and book installations.
  • Build and promote a strong, long-lasting customer base. Understand customers’ telecommunications needs and objectives.
  • Research demand for CCI products and services and identify emerging markets/opportunities.
  • Promote CCI brand. Keep abreast of market shifts, new products and competitor developments.
  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of proven sales experience. Experience in the telecommunication industry is a definite asset.
  • Must have familiarity with different sales techniques and a proven ability to drive the sales process from start to close.
  • Experience working with a CRM system is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a sales team environment.
  • Must have valid Driver’s License (Alberta Class 5, or equivalent) and use of own vehicle.

Technical Support Agent - Tier 1

Title: Tech Support Agent – Tier 1
Status: Part-time and full-time. Shifts varying from 5-8 hours, minimum 20 hours/week – maximum 40 hours/week.

Position Summary:

CCI Wireless is always looking for talented individuals to join our team Technical Support team. Our Calgary office is home to a full call centre supporting our customers across Alberta.

Technical Support agents answer incoming calls and emails from existing customers, and are responsible for answering questions, helping customers solve their connectivity issues, delivering a great customer experience and escalating issues where necessary. CI will provide full training on our services.

Shifts will vary between 5-8 hours for a minimum of 20 hours/week to Maximum of 40 hours/week. You must be available from 7 am to midnight, Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 5 pm on weekends, for various shifts, most importantly evenings, weekends and statutory holidays. Bilingualism is an asset. C

Your Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and Technical Support to customers – the customer experience comes first!
  • Providing knowledgeable troubleshooting guidance to customers, specifically concerning internet and VOIP issues.
  • Appropriately documenting customer interactions and troubleshooting steps taken in ticketing system and escalating service accordingly
  • Leave a lasting impression on customers, helping them maintain their relationship with CCI.
  • Performing tests of returned equipment to ensure quality of our units is maintained
  • Follow up with customers when appropriate, specifically on emails sent and voicemails left for customers
  • Provide feedback to leadership team and peers to improve environment
  • Make recommendations to the Manager regarding training and improvement in Technical Support levels
  • Various other duties as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • You must have a High School Diploma.
  • Call centre experience is a strong asset.
  • Completion of CCNA, CompTIA A+ will be considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of WIMAX and LTE technology is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with changes and adaptability to changes within call center environment
  • Background in technical troubleshooting of internet service is a strong asset.
  • Experience in the telecommunication industry, computer systems, networking, browsers and troubleshooting VOIP and internet service would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to achieve targets on a consistent basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a team atmosphere that promotes individual and team success
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written, to care for customers’ needs and to work effectively in a team.
